This took for.ev.er.. and was also for mieljolie on craftster lol. Its 35 inches long(not counting the ties) done with a 1.75mm hook. The thread was just regular white crochet that i dyed with blueberry, lemon and green tea. Its heat set too. The color was hard to get right I must have dyed like 10 different swatches lol. I don't like how it got splotchy when i took it outta the dryer though :[ but yea onto the "pattern". Its a gazillion(teehee) chains then every 5th ch i chained 7 and single crocheted to secure then at the end of the row i chained up the last loop and connected the middle chains with 9 chains and continued to follow that motif using the next odd number for the next row. Did that make sense ^.^? For the jingle-y bits i hammered holes in bottle caps and textured half of the can tabs with the sander bit on my dremmel. Then strung em up(cap face, textured tab,cap back, plain tab) with clear thread and super glue to secure em.

Hair flower i made for mieljolie on craftster. she rally likes can tabs and is into bellydancing so i figured this was a perfect match. Its dmc embroidery floss crocheted into love knots and chains. i really like the tassel at the end.

This is a crocheted snowman beret i made for my mom since she loves/collects snowmen. I didn't use a pattern for it i kinda just double crocheted chain 1 and joined the rounds til it was big enough then i decreased for 3 rounds and single crocheted in the chain spaces to finish. And for the snowman i did 1 round with triple crochet and one with double crochet and glued them together and then on the hat. The snowman's hat is 3 rows of single crochet and a small piece of yarn glued over it.

These are pumpkin empanadas I made for thanksgiving this year. They were uber tasty and flaky AND cinnamon free. So my daughter got to eat as many as she wanted. They're spiced with cloves, ginger, and smoked sea salt to really add some "fall flavor".

I made my baby her first birthday cake!! It's Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba! The balloon is lemon cake and Brobee is chocolate with dark chocolate filling. Oh and... That's my brother as "Dj Rick Rock". My mom made his costume. I think she did an awesome job considering she's only seen the show like twice.

I made this cake for my mom and brother's birthdays (they're 1 day apart). So since my brother is doomy and my mom likes bows, i added the dia de los muertos skull and the bow to kinda personalize it. I tried to use some food color markers to decorate the skull but the tips were all wonkey and spongey. So i just used q tips(with some of the cotton taken off) and my gel food colors to finish decorating.

I made some cranberry almond biscotti from cat morely's recipe on cutoutandkeep. They turned out really tasty. My daughter really loves them and they don't make a mess! It's a win win <3
